It's been twenty years since Breaking Dawn. Nessie has grown up into a young teenager, the Cullens moved away and returned. Carlisle has gone back to working at the hospital, the packs came closer to the vampires. Allowing them onto reservation land, but new vampires in town. The Volturi hide within Forks itself, having come there to observe Renesmee as a fully matured vampire. The Cullen Coven has grown, three new additions; though Renesmee is now under the guise as another one of Carlisle's adopted children.
With five weeks to the prom, Bella, Edward and the rest of the Cullens are organising their prom outfits. Though a few crimson eyed vampires have arrived in town, but instead of hunting humans in Forks, they've gone to La Push. With trouble stirring, what will happen next? No human is safe til morning light.
