History: Daniel was born in Landvassa, a suburb of Randgriz, the capital city of the Gallian Principality, in Europe. Always the studious one, Daniel preferred to read a book than enjoy sports in the streets. When he came of age, he left Landvassa and moved to Bruhl, a border town, to study at the university and obtain his doctorate in physics.
However, war soon broke out, and Daniel was summoned into the ranks of the Gallian militia, serving on Squad 7 under the command of Welkin Gunther, as a sniper. It was here that he also met his fiancée-to-be, Edy Nelson, an aspiring actress and one of Squad 7’s shocktroopers. The two became best friends, even after Daniel learned of his Scionic nature after meeting his mother, the Egyptian goddess Isis, the two would refuse to be separated, and eventually became lovers, and promised to marry each other after the war was over.
Alas, the Titans don’t care for promises. When they broke free of the prison created by the gods, Isis summoned Daniel and told him of the coming war against the enemy. And nothing spurred Daniel to enter the fight when he returned home to find his home leveled and Edy nowhere to be found…Daniel knew immediately that the Titans viewed him a threat and had kidnapped Edy in order to break him.
Now, Daniel is on the hunt for the Titans, their spawn, or any kind of clues to where his beloved Edy is. The Titans made a very big mistake in taking Edy from him, and Daniel will stop at nothing to bring her home and finally marry her as promised.
Personality: Daniel is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, the same kind of attitude that won him the heart of his fiancée, Edy. He’s also cool-tempered, not easily flustered and always calm, even in the face of contempt. But one thing he won’t admit to anyone is that he’s very superstitious. Black cats, crows, the number thirteen, you name it.
Weapons/Powers: Daniel, as a Scion of Isis, has a number of abilities, although many of them are beyond his reach for now. Currently, his only Scionic ability is being a human lie detector: he can tell when someone is deliberately lying to him. He can also detect half-truths, but he can’t tell which part of the statement is true as of yet. That will probably come later.
Daniel also served the Gallian milita as a sniper, and he still carries around his military-issued sniper rifle, which is a modified version of the Gallian SR-5, code-named “Iteru,” the name of the Egyptian Overworld. He’s also very athletic due to his training as a soldier.

A blast from a lancer blew up sheer inches from the wall of sandbags that was currently protecting Daniel from the Imperials beyond, who were waiting for his head to pop up like a bunch of hungry sharks. Why on earth did Lieutenant Gunther send him here? He should've been on the advance team with him and Sergeant Melchiott, he'd be in better shape up on those roofs.
"Keep your heads down, everyone!" came the baritone voice of their lancer and squad leader, Largo. "Wait until the advance team gets us some support!"
"And how long, pray tell, will that take?" Daniel asked, checking he catch on his Iteru rifle.
"Just be patient, Wendells," said Largo, reassuringly. "We should be getting support real soon..."
Suddenly, a shocktrooper across the street suddenly collapsed as a number of soldiers looked another way, suddenly calling orders and opening fire.
"And there it is!" said Largo. "Okay, Wendells, get up there and give our friends some aid. Nelson, get him some cover. Be careful!"
A silver-haired girl suddenly leapt up, opening fire with her machine gun while Daniel ran out into the melee, ducking into a nearby alley, just in time to see the girl suddenly give a scream and fall over.
"Dang it!" Ian said, poking out of the alley and letting off a few shots with the Iteru, not even bothering to look through the scope as he ran over to the girl, and dragging her into his cover.
"Man down! Man down!" he called, hoping his words would summon a medic.
The girl's breathing was shallow, her pulse fluttering but still there. He grasped her hand, not even bothering about the enemy outside.
"It'll be okay, I promise," he said, noting the fear in her eyes. "Help is coming..."
"Thank you...for saving me..." she gasped. "I'm Edy. Edy Nelson."
"...Daniel. Daniel Wendells."
