The Dark to Light
Two years have passed since the siege of Feinster and the death of Oromis and Glaedr in Gil'ead by Murtagh and his dragon Thorn. Eragon has become even more powerful, but it still young and is using the Eldunari, or Heart-of-Hearts, of Glaedr for power and support. He is learning everything from Glaedr and even though Oromis is dead, he can still learn everything that needs to be learned.
King Galbatorix has made sure that no other city has been captured but Gil'ead and Feinster and the Varden and Elves have help both strong. They have exchanged humans for Elves to help the Varden keep Feinster and Eragons goes between the two every so often to be sure that everything is being kept in perfection. The dwarfs have come and helped keep Feinster for the Varden and many people in the empire have left the great nation of the Empire and begged to be part of the Varden.
Now that days come down to the next attack on there next city of Belatona, Eragon has left for a day to do some exploring out in the desert. He knew that is was risky, but he must to try and see what he can find that may help the Varden. As he reaches the large mountain that is in the desert he notices that there is a cavern and he goes in to see many eggs that are sitting there in many colors. Eragon is amazed and grabs as many as can be held. He flies back with Saphira, but as they fly, Murtagh and Thorn see them and also goes towards the mountain and sees the eggs also and gets as many as they can.
Eragon has told the Varden and Murtagh has told the Empire and now both forces goes to the desert to get the eggs. The force collide and the two sides gets as many of the eggs they can before they retreat. Now the Empire and the Varden have a hast number of eggs that must be found a rider. Eragon has hidden the eggs in a cavern in Aberon as Galbatorix has hidden the eggs in a cavern in Uru'baen. Spies from both sides try to get the eggs, but neither side is so far successful for the wards that the two great riders have protected the eggs with.
