Mage and Sakura continued to hav their conversation, while Kurogane just leaned against a tree as a passer-by. It wasn't like he had anything to do, except keep an eye for Mage. Even though Mage didn't seem like it, Kurogane still didn't trust him.
Before Sakura began to speak once more, Kurogane caught Mage's glance before it returned to Sakura's when she starting talking. KUrogane also saw Mage examine Sakura more closely, and by instinct, his hand went down to Sohi. Why the heck do I want too protect her?! Kurogane exclaimed to himself by thoughts. He had nothing to do with Sakura, but yet, he had a feeling that he neeced to protect her. Great, Just great... Kurogane inwardly groaned to himself. Now he had one more thing to do on this godforsaken piece of dirt.
Then, Mage spoke, but Kurogna ewasn't paying exact attention, so he wasn't able to catch what Mage had just said. after Mage finished speaking, he fixed his gaze on Kurogane, and Kurogane returned the gaze back. Then, he asked that there were other places on the island, and Kurogane just answered, "Of course, there are a lot of places, you just have to find them." After Kurogane answered Mage's question, he shut up, expecting another answer or opinion from either one of the two people.

"What?" Sakura asked. "This island? Dunno. I don't know anything about anything or anyone or...or..." Sakura was ready to break down, crying.
Sakura took a deep breath. "I really think that we should do something. I mean..." Sakura sighed. "I need food..." she grumbled.
Her eyes lit up as she thought of something. "Hey, Kurogane!!" She called out. Unfortunately, it seemed like Kurogane was either asleep or something, or just relaxing against a tree. "He's a ninja!" Sakura laughed and pointed at the tall man. "Anyways, can you catch and roast some crabs for me??"
Meanwhile, turning back to Mage, she finally realized that Mage had earlier asked her a question. "Oh, the cards? I suppose they weren't THAT hard to get out. I mean, I really didn't anything. I suppose they wanted to come out by themselves, and seeing me, they got me to open the book. Or something. I don't know."

Mage looked over at Kurogane once again as he thought to himself while he spoke.
"He sure does have one hell of an attitude.. kinda irritating.. but ill let it float for now.."
Mage then smiled and looked at Sakura.
"So there's food here? that sounds like a good idea.. I need to get my energy back somehow."
Mage said enthusiastically as he grinned showing his teeth as he began to walk in no particular direction as he stopped and then turned back to the duo.
"Heh... mind showing me around?"

Kurogane caught Mage's glance once more, and by the looks of his face, Mag was already starting to think Kurogane was rude. Perfect, the less friends, the easier it will be to get out of this stupid place. Then, Mage smiled, in which Kurogane only smirked back, and MAge returned to Sakura.
He asked where he could get food, since he needed his energy back, but before Sakura could reply, Kurogane replied for her, "You have to get yourself. Fish, hunt, whack coconut trees. There's plenty of water if you don't mind salt, too." With that said, Kurogane just smiled menacingly.
Then, Mage grinned to, showing his white teeth, and he began walking in a random direction, before he faced both Kurogane and Sakura again. He asked if the two could show him around, and Kurogane just gaped at him in surprise. DId tis man really think they were just his servants?! Kurogane grunted, and said, "I got stuff to do, and besides, I need to get my lunch." With that siad, Kurogane stopmed off, heading towards his "favorite" coconut tree.

Sakura tilted her head, silent for once. She thought for a moment before replying. "Hmm...sorry. I can't show you around. And I get my food from Kurogane, so...I also can't help you there." She said this mostly because she didn't want to be near this man. He had such a creepy smile that shook her bones to the core. Not to mention, he had a tendency to walk in a random direction at time. This meant that he was restless or had no purpose. Another reason was that Kurogane had already answered for her.
But still, Kurogane did supply most of Sakura's food. She supposed it was because she was 10 and he was an adult. But nonetheless, Sakura wanted to find a way to repay him later on.
Mage then grinned at Kurogane, flashing his white teeth, opposing Kurogane of his statement. Sakura shivered, unnoticeable, but did so nonetheless. She was freaked about the man; he looked almost...evil.
Kurogane stalked off, wanting to eat his lunch. Privately, Sakura thought that Kurogane ate a lot. And that he always seemed like he lacked something.
Probably alcohol. Then again, maybe the huge amount of food was because Kurogane was an adult. But either way, she didn't think she would ever grow to be that big or eat that much. She tagged along, anyways, even though she didn't feel hungry. She knew that from survival, eat while you can. There might not be food the next time you need it. So Sakura was going to fill herself enough that she got enough energy, but not too much that she would be bloated and not be able to do anything the whole day.
