Surprisingly Fai was unphased and not in the least bit intimidated by the reaction he received from the rather untrusting soul, immediately the magician was remind of his ex-companion Kurogane and before he actually realized what he was doing he found himself playfully prodding (with his words) the stubborn male that refused to share his name, "Well now if I don't know you name, how shall I address you? Oh I know we'll give you an honorary name, how about Alphonse? No? Harry then? - Oh I know! Sally! Yes Sally suits you well."
A cheeky grin spread across the pale blonde face and despite the fact the agitation and grief he caused the frustrated, dark haired warrior, Fai was really in no true danger; already a natural evasive and agile duelist and previously traveling with the short tempered ninja Kurogane kept Fai's skills razor sharp and seasoned.
Leaning back he relaxed his fine golden ornate magician's staff into the crook of his right arm while peering over his shoulder affectionately at juvenile girl that reminded him so of his Sakura, "There is really no need to thank me Miss Kinomoto, I simply empathise with your loss, believe me when I say this, I think all of us here can understand the feeling of loosing something - and if I can help you retrieve that important thing or rather things in this case and ease that woeful feeling then it eases my own loss too. Of course the same sentiment applies to you too Miss Haruno Sakura, if there is anything within my reasonable power to aid you in regaining those lost memories I shall do my best. But I think what you need right now is not to try and force them. – By chance or not but I used to travel with someone whom lost her memories so I do have some experience when advising you."
Fai addressed the young female with strawberry coloured hair that reached her shoulders controlled by a headband with a finely crafted piece of metal attached to it, shining in the afternoon sunbeams it reflected a foreign engraved crest upon it; inclining his head politely he smiled communicating with simple body language that he meant what he spoke despite the fact he perhaps had magic that could have aided her plight swiftly, he did not offer this solution – he had his own reasons for not.
Finally redirecting his gaze to Yuuki, he nodded his head in acknowledgement the placid smile never waved from his lips, it was sometimes unsettling for some, “It is nice to meet you Miss Cross Yuuki. I suppose you and everyone else are interested in hearing what information I have to share?”
Choosing a position so he was address the small group collectively he waited until he had their undivided attention and when he did he continued, “Well I not sure of just who is aware of the fact that we are all from completely different worlds and this isle is on a completely separate world of it’s own according another whom is stranded on this island concluding from his scouting this world is completely covered in ocean and his humble chunk of land is the only thing dry above the water, which could be a bit of problem for us if this world is prone to tsunamis. But it is best not to stress too much about things out of our control. This is mostly according to my own muse that an outside force has seemed to have randomly selected us and brought us to this place, but from my own experience things are almost never random, however how we were selected is still unclear. You should all be aware there are highly dangerous . . . creatures roaming this island, according to my source he noted they tend to favour the inner terrain of the island; it is my sound advice, unless you’re a confident and skilled warrior you should not wander alone – I suggest some of the more battle enabled take care of the less combat inclined. Finally my source also mentioned there was a village of natives, I have no further information about village, it was my intentions before I came across you, to go to the village an investigate further.”
